A former Customer Analyst shares an opinion of working at Diversey, Inc., I have never worked for a company more disorganized. No one seems to know what is going on or is willing to take responsibility for anything. Upper management has no clue what teams are doing in the field. I have never experienced teams of people so unwilling to work together or share information. This company has a "kill or be killed" mentality. I would never recommend, not even to my worst enemy.

Customer Analyst (Former Employee) says

"I have never worked for a company more disorganized. No one seems to know what is going on or is willing to take responsibility for anything. Upper management has no clue what teams are doing in the field. I have never experienced teams of people so unwilling to work together or share information. This company has a "kill or be killed" mentality. I would never recommend, not even to my worst enemy. Cons: disorganization, long hours, lack of management, lack of communication"

Territory Account Specialist (Current Employee) says

"Our new DM is a little boy who thinks he’s cool and your friend but will throw you under the bus to make himself look like he actually is doing something, because he is under qualified for the job! Cons: Tons"

Manager of Operations (Former Employee) says

"Middle Managers are not managed. My manager was disorganized, scattered and had no understanding how the systems worked. Worst manager I ever had in 30 years. Cons: Too many to list"

Tecnico chimico (Former Employee) says

"Azienda, che non guarda le persone come tali ma solo come numero"

SAP Clerk (Former Employee) says

"Very terrible place to work. I truly believe that people you work with has a big impact in a workplace, Unfortunately this company does not have great management. Place is not well maintain, lots of people with egos and just not a great place to be in."

Operator/Productiemedewerker (Former Employee) says

"zeer hoge werkdruk, vriendjespolitiek, als nieuwkomer wordt je als een stuk vuil behandeld. Cons: alles"

Manager (Former Employee) says

"Leadership is horrible, no processes in place, no raises, high turnover rates, it's always cold, nothing works in the building, no room for growth, and management sucks. The company is losing great employees and doesn't even care. HR sucks, on-boarding process is extremely unorganized, and there are no reliable processes in place, everyone seems lost and just seem to be there for the check until they can find better job elsewhere. During the interview, they describe this place as "challenging but making progress" to make you think that you can make a difference once hired, all lies. Once hired they want you to sit at your desk and do as you're told. When making suggestions on process improvements, you're met with "yeah, good luck with that" or "I agree, that should be changed but let's focus on this for now" or "let's let HR handle that piece"."

Sr. IT Manager (Former Employee) says

"The culture does not empower employees to excel and grow in their careers. Particularly in IT , the top down leadership does not have the experience and ability to foster a positive culture for performance. Instead of working together towards reasonable goals in a private equity environment, they spin in circles pointing blame at others for their lack of leadership ability. I feel awful for those below Director level who are stuck on the carousel of no accountability with less than qualified leadership particularly in IT. Cons: Lack of quality leadership and positive culture"

Distribution Account Manager (Current Employee) says

"Diversey truly needs a complete HR and Management do-over, or just shut their doors. The level of difficulty you experience to schedule time off you are given as apart of your benefit is unlike anything anyone has experienced. You have no work life balance and your families are expected to take the backseat. Management is extremely condescending and breaks all the policies while HR backs them up. As an employee, if you disagree with them, they will do their best to make it so difficult for you to want to stay or simply manage you out. The company has a very high turnover and doesn't accept accountability however will mandate overtime for you to pick for those who have left the company instead of hiring more associates. A typical day at work is managing your accounts and others. The most enjoyable part of the job is your co-workers. I've learned that this to not settle and be so loyal to a position that isn't willing to work with you or be loyal in return. The workplace culture was once really great but management has brought the morale down so severely. We were once a team of 15 and now it's a team of 5. Cons: healthcare, management"

Rebate Processor (Former Employee) says

"Worked hours were from 8 until 5 but I would stay later as needed to meet deadlines. In this position I learned just the basics requirements to do my job. I would have liked to learn in more detail but was never offered that opportunity. This was due to being in my position for a year before learning my department as well as two others were being outsourced to India. Working with management and co-workers became a struggle due to this information. This was the hardest part of the job. Knowing our jobs were ending in a year. The most enjoyable part was working with our distributors and having a close working relationship. Cons: two separate buildings made some departments divided which in turn became an issue as a whole."

RD&E (Current Employee) says

"Diversey is constantly undergoing reorganization. You will never have stability. Great for work/life balance on a daily basis depending on your manager. However, your job will be in flux every year."

Back Office, Customer Service (Former Employee) says

"The customer service department has unrealistic expectations of their employees with real life issues. There is absolutely no grace period for arrival time. They pile enormous amounts of work on their employees and expect it to be completed in a ridiculous amount of time. If you have a question regarding work, each manager has a different response on how to solve said issue. There are a couple managers who don't know how to solve any issues at all so asking them a question is a waste of time. They will often time deny time off requests even if you follow protocol. God forbid you have an emergency they will be more worried about when you will be coming into work rather than making sure you okay and handle your business. There is no empathy whatsoever. The department manager has a habit of talking down to people and is more interested in proving subordinates wrong rather than educating them to become better. Cons: Management, stressful work"

Line maintenance operator (Former Employee) says

"Start as a temp and get hired manager is two faced on second shift, hits on women, my mom worked there with me and he was harassing her. The company did nothing about it he still works there. Every day before you start working he complains to everyone and whined about dumb things horrible management there. Dead end job. Cons: Just about everything"

Manager (Current Employee) says

"New CEO is decimating company. People arent valued. He only cares about cutting all costs. Doesnt care about people. Wont talk to us.Sends messages that are cold. N personality. Cons: Everytinng else"

Food Safety Auditor/Territory Manager (Former Employee) says

"Typical day at work: Cons: Very poor management system"

Area Sales Manager' - North (Former Employee) says

"The work culture is completely diluted. Though Diversey is a strong brand in the market but the current management has diluted the image of this brand by giving high discounts in the market and modern trade."

Field Service Technician (Former Employee) says

"I worked as a Field Service Technician for over a year. As far as training goes, you’re at the mercy of the technician who trains you. Mine was just awful, but many others are very good! My ROM, (Regional Manager) was clueless, arrogant, unhelpful, apathetic, accusatory, and unprofessional! Diversey’s main concern seems to be upper management, Bain Capital (owner,) instead of customers and technicians."

Délégué commercial (Current Employee) says

"Organisation "Suisse". Mal structurée, processus compliqués rendant la pro activité difficile. Cons: Ambiance générale"

Sales Executive (Former Employee) says

"* Was good to Work."

Représentant sur la route (Former Employee) says

"Cette compagnie profitesde leur monde et regarde pas l ancienneté"

Former Employee - IT Analyst says

"I worked at Diversey full-time for more than a year Cons: Poor lack of vision from senior operation management, left hand knew nothing of what the right hand was doing, need to run over leadership to Europeans as they seem to have a better understanding of practices"

Current Employee - Financial Analyst says

"I have been working at Diversey full-time for more than 8 years Cons: Staff is cut to the point no one can do more than a shallow dive into any position. You end up telling the same people the same information about every 3 months. Red tape is unbelievable & getting any special situations dealt with can be very lengthy."

Current Employee - Strategic Sourcing says

"I have been working at Diversey full-time Cons: Still owe me my expenses for my travel to NC"

Former Employee - Customer Service Representative says

"I worked at Diversey full-time for less than a year Cons: This place expects you to be a robot. You are expected to do everything by the book, and do 1,000 things at once. Every once in awhile your supervisor will pick some of your calls to listen to, and nit pick at every single thing you say. It could be that you said tomato, but they want you to say tomahto. One time I was called to speak to my supervisor because I was going to the bathroom too much and told me to take shorter breaks if I was going to go so often (I was sick with a sore throat, so I was drinking a lot of tea and water). All the management was just so terrible, and they were such cold, non understanding people."

Former Employee - Sales Representative says

"I worked at Diversey full-time Cons: Upper management let go of many with no reason and destroyed lives"

Current Employee - Executive Director says

"I have been working at Diversey full-time for more than a year Cons: The Senior leaders in this company create a toxic culture of bullying and finger pointing to deflect their own misses and inadequacies. There is not an ounce of carrying for the people that work so hard day in and day out to support this company."

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I have been working at Diversey full-time for more than 3 years Cons: More layoffs. Lots of good people leaving at all levels. Don’t care about employees at all. Don’t care about the experience leaving company."

Former Employee - Customer Service Representative says

"I worked at Diversey full-time Cons: Micromanagement Stressful work environment Heavy workload NO ACCOUNTABILITY from supervisors!"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at Diversey full-time for more than 8 years Cons: Micro managed, be careful not to upset the wrong person or you'll be bullied or reputation tarnished. HR is not helpful, the folks who went to them for complaints all ended up not being employed. Dirty politics, enough to drive someone to the edge but just short of a lawsuit."

Current Employee - R&D says

"I have been working at Diversey full-time for more than 3 years Cons: Executive team can not manage, much less lead. Combination of arrogance and ignorance has created a toxic culture with no accountability. Executives often flat out lie to employees, but insist (and believe) they've done nothing wrong . Many people have left, leaving company bereft of skills and lots of work for those remaining. Despite being in market with 5%+ CAGR, company shrank in 2017. Bain has imposed many programs in an effort to transform company, decision making is paralyzed and chaos reigns supreme."

joker226 says

"The new Terms of Service are ridiculous and unacceptable. Now we, as investors, have to compensate Mintos for legal costs that incur in the process of recovering funds. Unilateral modification of agreements to my prejudice... I'm leaving."

Osman Miz says

"Platform is not transparent, the risk you are taking is way more than what you can estimate. As the rules of game changes by Mintos anytime. Buybacks are not honored, loans can be extended. Eventually the loans are defaulted or payments are "pending" for unknown periods of time. I do not recommend anyone to invest in this platform. Note that Mintos has direct equity relationship with many Loan Originators and have no interest to keep investors at first priority. They chose to hide fund recovery issues through "pending payments" . Eventually further delaying the possible default recovery for investors. Also note that it is not possible to exit your investment when you want as liquidity is low, many LOs are suspended or defaulted, and payments are continuously "pending". Better spend your money than investing in here."

Eva Wahrig says

"Doesn't inform investors what happened to the loans. Edit: My investor ID doesn't matter. I've invested in AlexCredit loans like 23567186-06 According to you, "Pending payments represent money that is in the process of being credited to the investor’s account." Why does it take 2+ month to credit the money to my account? In the post "2 July update: Status of the defaulted lending companies and the recovery of invested funds" you say only 2.7% of the investments have been recovered. The "pending payments" status is a fraud."

Tobias says

"Warning: do NOT use. They won't let you withdraw your money! EDIT: As a response to their reply, I can only say that I did verify when I signed up and invested. I can STILL invest, but I am NOT allowed to withdraw money!! Verification is only to make it more difficult to withdraw your money again."
